Overview

One studio, two locations, no driving for you

If you have one free day in Los Angeles, this is the way to spend it on film. We pick you up at your hotel, walk Hollywood Boulevard before the crowds arrive, and drive over to Burbank for the Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood, the studio's own public tour, for which we book your ticket. You ride the backlot by tram with a Warner Bros. guide and finish on Stage 48, where the Central Perk set from Friends stands.

In the afternoon we drive up to Griffith Observatory. It has been a film location since the 1930s, and from its terraces you see the Hollywood Sign, the Los Angeles basin and, on a clear day, the ocean. Lena Kowalski, our Los Angeles tour leader, guides the whole day, and groups are capped at 12, so there is time for questions and photos.

We pick up at central hotels in Hollywood and West Hollywood. Staying elsewhere? Meet us outside the Hollywood and Highland Metro station at 8:15 a.m.

Warner Bros. asks every visitor for a government photo ID at the studio gate. Without it you cannot join the studio tour.

Tour FAQ

Hollywood studio day: questions and answers

Is the studio ticket included?

Yes. The ticket for the Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood is in the price. It is the studio's own public tour, booked by us in your name.

Why is the day tour paid in full?

Because we buy the studio ticket for you as soon as you book. The full price is due at booking, and you can change your date once, free, up to 30 days before.

Can children join?

This tour is designed for adults. Warner Bros. sets its own minimum age for the studio tour, and we follow it.

What if the studio closes a stage?

Stages close when productions are shooting. The studio guides change the route, and you still see the backlot and Stage 48.

Can I do Paramount instead of Warner Bros.?

Not on this day tour. Paramount is on our five-day Hollywood on Location tour, along with Warner Bros.

Is Griffith Observatory open every day?

It is closed on Mondays, which is why this tour never runs on a Monday.
