Accessibility statement
How we make this website work for people using a keyboard, a screen reader or a phone, what still has limits, and how to tell us about a problem. Last updated .
Tollymore Forest Park, County Down
Our aim for this website
We want everyone to be able to find, compare and ask about our film location tours, whether they use a keyboard, a screen reader, a magnifier, voice control or a phone. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have done so far
- Every page has one main heading, a logical heading order, landmarks for the header, navigation, main content and footer, and a "Skip to content" link.
- Menus, the search box, filters and every dropdown list work with the keyboard: Enter or Space opens them, the arrow keys move, Escape closes, and focus goes back where it was.
- Focus is always visible as a clear outline.
- Text and buttons meet the AA contrast ratio; body text is at least 16 pixels and can be enlarged to 200 percent without loss.
- Photos have text descriptions of what they show; purely decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Form fields have visible labels and clear error messages that are announced.
- Every map has the same information as a text list beside or below it.
- Animations are reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
Known limitations
- The maps themselves are images and cannot be explored with a screen reader; use the location lists instead.
- Gift cards are sent as PDF files, which may not be fully tagged. Ask us for the details as plain text in an email.
- Studio, park and museum websites we link to are run by others and vary in accessibility.
Report a problem or ask for another format
If something on this site does not work for you, tell us: email [email protected] with the page address and what happened, or call +1 (323) 641-2870, Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00 Pacific Time. We reply within two business days and can send any page, itinerary or booking document by email in plain text or large print.
Accessibility on the tours themselves
This statement covers the website. For travel, each tour page shows a pace from 1 to 5 and describes the walking. Some tours can run as private trips with step-free locations, adapted vans and accessible rooms; see private and custom tours or ask Hector Salas, who looks after travelers with mobility and health needs.
How we check the site
Before we publish a change, we go through the pages with the keyboard alone, at phone, tablet and desktop widths, and run automated checks for contrast, headings, labels, alternative text and the dropdown lists.
